19th – 20th October – Institute of Internal Communications Festival, tickets still available here – Festival – Homepage | Festival (ioic.org.uk)
We are proud partners of the very first IOIC Festival, held at Goosedale in Nottingham.
To support organisations which have experienced a fundamental shift in the way they work and communicate, we’ll be bringing the AddIn Comms Discovery Series to the Employee Experience Zone.
AddIn Comms presents – How to put the needs of employees at the centre of information design in Office 365. 20 October – 11am (repeated at 11:30am)
We welcome you to join Microsoft MVPs Wes Hackett and Suzy Dean in the Employee Experience Zone to participate in an interactive internal communications focussed workshop.
The desire for digital employee experiences to be more joined up has been accelerated by the pandemic and hybrid working pattern.
Many organisations are realising that their existing intranet structures have been blocking activity, slowing their projects, and dampening efforts made to connect their employees.
Alongside the new challenges of navigating hybrid working, many digital workplaces are failing to support employees in feeling connected to the organisation’s values. According to Microsoft’s 2021 Work Trend Index Report, 46% of workers are looking for a new job.
In this session, global experts in Microsoft technology will take you step-by-step through a digital workplace fit to meet the needs of today’s hybrid workers. The session will also offer practical tips to execute your project.
We’ll also open our AddIn Show Case, an exclusive look at how many of the world’s best-known brands, including Wincanton, Signant Health and Wales & West Utilities, are delivering visually exciting, media rich employee experiences.
If you’re attending the first IOIC Festival and would like to discuss enhancing your employee experience in Office 365 with a global expert, we’d love to chat. Send us a hello via this form to arrange a meeting.

Microsoft MVP and AddIn365 Technical Architect Paul Shaeflein says: “Don’t lock down Teams and encourage the use of email or shadow IT, keep the service open and manage your governance at a tenant level with AddIn365’s Creation Pack Skill”
